COMMON QUESTIONS

How do I know when to schedule a refill?
If you're on automatic delivery, we track your usage and schedule refills before you run low. On will-call, we recommend calling once your gauge reads around 30%, especially heading into winter.
What's the difference between owning and leasing a tank?
A leased tank stays our responsibility to maintain, and you buy propane at our posted rate. An owned tank is yours outright, with more flexibility on where you buy fuel, but maintenance and inspection costs are on you.
What's your minimum delivery amount?
Residential minimum is typically 100 gallons. Commercial and agricultural accounts are quoted based on tank size and route scheduling.
Do you offer automatic delivery, or do I have to call every time?
Both. Automatic delivery estimates your usage from past fills and weather data, so you rarely have to think about it. Will-call is available if you'd rather order on your own schedule.
What do I do if I smell gas?
Leave the area immediately, avoid anything that could spark, and call our 24/7 emergency line once you're clear. Full step-by-step guidance is on our Safety page.
How much clearance does a tank need from my house?
It depends on tank size and local fire code. Our installers assess your property and place the tank to meet code before anything is finalized.
Do you install and service equipment, or just deliver fuel?
Both. We install and service tanks, water heaters, generators, and other propane appliances in addition to delivering fuel. See the Products page for what we carry.
Can I switch from another propane provider?
Yes. If you own your tank, switching is straightforward. If you're on a leased tank, we'll walk you through what's involved in transferring or swapping equipment.
Do you serve commercial and agricultural accounts?
Yes, including metered billing, forklift cylinder exchange, and seasonal capacity planning for farms. Details are on the Services page.
What are your emergency service hours?
Emergency dispatch runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. The office line keeps standard business hours.
