Every technician on our team is trained to the same standard. Here's what that standard covers, and what to do if something feels off.
IF YOU SMELL GAS
- 1Put out any flames, cigarettes, or other ignition sources. Do not flip light switches or use anything electrical.
- 2Get everyone out of the building or area immediately.
- 3Shut off the gas supply at the tank if you can do so safely.
- 4Call our 24/7 emergency line from a phone away from the building, or call 911.
- 5Stay away until a technician confirms it's safe to go back in.

Certified technicians
Every installer and delivery driver completes NPGA-aligned safety training before working a route on their own.
Tank clearance
Tanks are placed with proper clearance from windows, doors, and ignition sources, following local fire code.
Leak and pressure testing
Every tank is pressure-tested before it's put into service, and rechecked at each scheduled visit.
Annual inspections
Delivery customers get a free annual safety check covering the tank, regulator, and connected lines.
Carbon monoxide awareness
We check appliance venting during installs and recommend a CO detector near any propane appliance.
Driver protocols
Drivers follow a documented checklist at every stop, and won't fill a tank that fails a visual inspection.
